Mark J. Garcia, wonderful son, brother,uncle, friend, boyfriend and father figure, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was 22 years old. Mark had a loving family, a supportive friend base and was a loving boyfriend and father.
 
  Mark is survived by his devoted girlfriend Princess Recosana, his daughter Cheyenne Sophia, his parents; Enrique Marpa and Imelda Garcia, his siblings; Rochelle Garcia, Michael Garcia and Glory Garcia and his niece and nephews; Xandrei, Enzo and Zaneia.

  Born in Olongapo City, Philippines in 1994 Mark, from an early age showed his great big heart by always wanting to cheer those up around him and encouraging people to laugh and smile. The family relocated to South Dakota where Mark would receive his education at Roosevelt High School before relocating to California where he would go on to receive his Licensed Vocational Nursing education. Which came natural. He had a passion to want those around him to feel better.
 
 In Mark's free time he enjoyed being outdoors, with family and working with his hands. He enjoyed seeing all sides and angles and views of the Bay Area by hiking. He loved to sing, listen to music, play computer games. Having fun. He was always handy, fixing cars tinkering with repairs and of course cooking. He loved to cook, feed people as much as he loved to eat. Mark was always eating and laughing. Naturally the combination with wanting to help others and using his hands he was fond of massaging. Mark had a that one of a kind laugh. the kind that would fill any room he was in. He always knew what to say to make you smile, he would go out of his way to put others before himself. A great listener who always had the biggest smile, no matter what, Mark refused for anyone to be sad around him because he had a way of cheering or lighting up the room. With the biggest and genuine heart anyone would ever meet his presence will be so deeply missed.

Services for Mark are as follows;
On Wednesday January 11, 2017 there will be a visitation from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Grissom's Chapel and Mortuary in San Lorenzo
Thursday January 12, 2017 there will be a Chapel Service, also at Grissom's at 11:00 A.M.
