Felecitas Estrella Shiloh (“Mama Felecia”), daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 79 years old in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Felecia is survived by her two children: Hans “Jojo” (with his wife Wilma and their daughters, Joni and Jaynalin) and Josephine “Pinkie” (with her husband Nelson and their daughter, Michelle). Felecia worked for Owens Brockway Glass Company for ten years and officially retired after working from Kaiser Permanente in Oakland for over a decade at the age of 62. Felecia migrated in the United States in 1971 at the age of 32 years old. She was born on January 21, 1939 in the province of Capiz (Roxas City) in the Philippines. Felecia will be remembered as someone who enjoyed fishing and who is an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland Raiders. She is happiest when she is around her granddaughters who adore her. Felecia will greatly be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. It will continue on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from noon to 5 pm. Rosary begins at 3 pm and the vigil begins at 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 2500 Bermuda Ave., San Leandro.
